If you’re up for a challenge and have already completed many of the limited time challenges on Fortnite, it’s well worth trying to complete the infamous Rickety Rig challenge. Which involves finding the crane at Rickety Rig and climbing to the top of it, where you’ll need to perform a quick dance, without getting shot by enemies.
First find Rickety Rig:
If you’re unsure of where Rickety Rig is, it’s located in the south west corner of your season 3 map. If you use grid references in order to find your way around the map, simply head to C7. If you look at this square on the map, you’ll see a series of islands. In order to complete the challenge you’ll need to head to the most southern of these islands. As it may be hard to find a motor boat in order to get to the right island, it may be a great idea to try on land on the island from your party bus. This will also save you from swimming in potentially lethal, shark infested waters.
Try landing directly on top of the crane:
If you slowly fall from the sky, you may be able to time things so that you’re able to land right on top of the crane at Rickety Rig. If you’re worried about not being able to see the orange crane which you’ll need to get on top of, don’t worry as its bright orange and is impossible to miss. As long as you control your dive.
If you miss climb to the top section:
Technically you only have to dance on any part of the top section of the orange crane. So if you miss the very top of the structure, you can try climbing your way to the top section of the crane. One of the advantage of doing so, is that you’ll be able to shoot the enemies above you, who may also be trying to complete the same challenge as you.
Beware of crowds:
Expect to bump into crowds. However, keep in mind that there is enough room on the top of the crane for numerous players. Although there’s no guarantee that they will abstain from shooting you. As Fortnite is a Battle Royale game.
Make sure to keep dancing until you receive a notification on your screen:
Once you’ve selected a dance move, make sure to keep dancing until you receive a notification which informs you that have successfully completed the challenge. At this point in time your Fortnite account should be credited with a massive amount of XP points.
In conclusion:
So if you don’t want to be eaten by sharks, it’s a great idea to study your map in order to find the right island which you can land on, when you jump out of the party bus, in order to complete the infamous Rickety Rig challenge quickly. Especially if you just want to collect your XP points.
